Hello my loves!! So it has been FOREVER since I have had a new blog post!! My mom was having some health issues so that has been my focus for the the past couple of months. I was still active on my other channels but the blog was put to the side for a while. I am so happy to be back and I have some great stuff coming up for you guys! I’m kicking things off with this Rebdolls Plus Size Floral Maxi that I fully obsessed with. Just so you know I locked myself out of my car while I was shooting this look, I couldn’t get to my phone, house keys and I had no shoes on. I had to sit on a bench downtown with no shoes on waiting for my parents to come get me and my photographer. Her stuff was locked in my car too. I have been blogging for nearly 7 years and have changed a million times. This was the first time I locked my keys in my car during a shoot. It was a win for sure, but pretty funny too.
The Look
I love Rebdolls and used to be a brand ambassador for them when I first started blogging, here is one of my past looks from them. I was searching for maxi dresses to film for an upcoming youtube try on haul when I found this one. It is so girly and feminine. I love the sleeve details that drape over the arms. The shoes I intended to wear were just simple nude flats but if you wanted them to be seen wedges would be great with this too!
The Fit
I am wearing a 2x and it is a little snug in the bust area but the rest fits perfectly so I am glad I didn’t go a size up. If you are like me and carry a lot of weight in your arms then you may love this dress. The sleeve details give you a little extra coverage in that area. It is meant to be more at the ankle level but on my 5’3 frame it is floor length, which I love. The band around the waist cinches you in and shows of the curves, which is always a bonus!
