Hello my Loves! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! I had an extra day off that was greatly needed and appreciated. I took the extra time to film up a few YouTube videos that I have been trying to get to. If you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, you NEED to, just go here! I do a little bit of everything, beauty reviews and hair tutorials, but mostly videos about plus size clothes and outfit ideas. It is a lot of fun because I get to “talk” directly to you guys and not just type. A couple of posts ago I introduced you to Rue107, it was my first time featuring them on the blog and I told I had another look coming from them. Well, here it is! The Look
Do you get the same pinup vibes that I get from this dress? That is the reason I ordered it actually, that and the gorgeous model that was wearing on the site! She looked some bomb I just had to have this dress. I do not own much clothing that has polka dots. Especially large ones like these! There was just something so chic, timeless and charming about this dress though. I loved the long sleeves with the off the shoulder cut. I wanted to keep the look simple, so I added plain navy pumps and a silver clutch that was in one of my most recent Dia & Co boxes.
The Fit
Like with the last dress from Rue107, I ordered a 2x(18/20). This is a bodycon dress so it is fitted. It has a nice stretch to the fabric and is great quality! I love the length! Not too short or too long on my 5’3 frame. I think this look is retro chic with a serious pinup feel and I am NOT mad about that one bit!
