Boss Up Blazer Look

October 17, 2018

Hi my loves! What’s the weather like where you are? It is finally cooling off here in Alabama and I am so excited about it. I needed a break from the heat. However, this month is flying by and that just means the holidays are coming up FAST. I plan to do some gift guides this year for the first time! Bloggers do them all the time but I personally never have. What kind of gift guides would you guys like to see? For her? For him? Style or beauty themed guides? I am open to suggestions! Okay, on to my reason for today’s post, this Boss Up Blazer Look. I am calling all my boss babes for this one!

I am calling all my boss babes for this one!

The Look

I mentioned this blazer in my last post, CCC Approved Little Black Dress, as the other piece I purchased from my recent order from City Chic. Blazers can really finish out any look in my option. I have so many colors, cuts, styles and fits of blazers and love them ALL. When I saw this gorgeous cobalt blue one on City Chic’s site, I instantly added to cart. I have blue eyes so blue is always a good color for me, plus it is a great contrast to my bright red hair.

I knew I wanted to wear jeans for this look. Lately, I have been really into incorporating jeans into all my “business” looks. I received these RWN jeans in one of my most recent Dia & Co boxes, see full unboxing here. Dia & Co is actually how I discovered RWN jeans in the first place and fell in love with their fit! So, I paired this distressed, unfinished hem pair of RWN jeans with the blazer then added some block heels from Target and a clutch from that came from a Dia & Co box as well. I loved the pink pops in the clutch and the blue was almost a perfect match to the blazer.

The Fit

I am wearing an XL, which is a 22, in the blazer, it fits great. Arms are always a problem area for me, I carry a lot of weight there, but luckily this blazer has full stretch. Which not only means I had no trouble fitting my arms in it but it also makes it easy to wear all day. Super comfortable. For the jeans, I am a solid 20 in all RWN denim I have tried so far. As I said before, I love the fit of their jeans. They stretch over the curves to give you such good shape.
